The Law is an ass.
A rite of passage
This will be a rant about going to school and growing up in Australia.
In Australia, there is a rite of passage called year 12 - the last year of high school. The results of this final year of high school determine who will get into university, who will get into the prestigious courses and what many people's careers will become.
It is viewed by many as a make or break year, in which you either win or are damned for all time to come.
IMO, 17 is too young for most of us to be making decisions about our careers. But I'll rant on about it later.
Watch this space.
